The Royals seem to support this kind of crap. Goldberg goes to an in-game interview with Dyson about once a week it seems like. And Dyson acts like the complete douche/jackass he is the entire time. Also doesn't help that Joel, Ryan, Hud, Phys...they all just eat it up, laughing.

WTF is a catching instructor? Do other teams have in-season, full-time staff catching instructors? I've only heard of that stuff during spring training.

And WTF do we need one? Can't anyone in that organization just get fired, instead of reassigned somewhere to soothe their feelings or some such shit?

Say Shane Robinson and Matt Adams or Allen Craig went to a bar owned by a sports radio station out of St. Louis - I think KTRS is one. It was crowded because of MMA fight, over capacity so they don't let them in. Thus they now won't grant an interview to KTRS. Then try to get other teammates to join them all in the middle of a losing streak. All while Robinson is trying to be the asshole in the whole thing when he is just the late innings base runner.

And another thing: Has Sveum been standing there all season watching the Royals bat and thinking, "I know what we're doing wrong, it's so obvious ..."? And he, what, didn't say anything to Ned or Pedro? Or he did, and they ignored him? Or he finally spoke out yesterday, and the team said, "You know, you're right. You're the new hitting coach"?

Let's be honest, with the exception of a few, the team generally seems like a bunch of assholes. At least in interviews, anyways.
