What a dud today was. Oh well. Pioli better pull an elephant out of his f***ing hat by the end of the weekend!

Welp, that bottle of Two Jokers was outstanding.

I hope Pioli gets to work, we have more holes than we did this time yesterday.

The Breaston signing isn't even official. I'm thinking we may not hear much right away. Bor-ing.

After going through 66 pages, this is the big chiefs recap I type through tears:

Unrestricted free agents remaining: LB Charlie Anderson, RB Jackie Battle, FB Tim Castille, OT Ryan O'Callaghan, LB Corey Mays, TE Leonard Pope, C Rudy Niswanger and QB Brodie Croyle.

Unrestricted free agents lost to another team: NT Ron Edwards (Panthers), DT Shaun Smith (Titans)

Players released: CB Jackie Bates, G Brian Waters, WR Chris Chambers

2011 NFL draft picks agreed to terms:WR Jonathan Baldwin, C Rodney Hudson, DL Allen Bailey, DB Jalil Brown, QB Ricky Stanzi, LB Gabe Miller, DL Jerrell Powe and FB Shane Bannon.

2011 NFL draft picks remaining to sign: LB Justin Houston

Undrafted free agents officially signed: Auburn CB Demond Washington, Virginia Union OT David Mims, Tennessee-Chattanooga OL Chris Harr, Texas A&M DT/DE Lucas Patterson, UNC OT Mike Ingersoll, Central Connecticut WR Josue Paul, Oregon DT Brandon Bair, USC OL Butch Lewis, Temple LB Amara Kamara and Michigan State TE Charlie Gantt.

The Ravens withdrew their qualifying restricted tenders to WR Marcus Smith and RB Jalen Parmele, making them free agents.

I'm not worried about the Breaston signing.

I'm worried about the fact that we're weaker at DE, NT and TE than when we started the FA period, and we still haven't addressed our biggest holes - NT, RT, OLB.

Based on past experience, you'd be crazy if you weren't a bit concerned.

I love Nnamdi Asomugha going to Philly. Not only is he out of the AFC, but he helps ensure the Cowgirls get beat down twice a year. Jerry Jones was pushing for him hard only to have the division rival snatch him right out from under the Cowgirls. Dallas will miss the playoffs two years in a row and I will be loving it.

I wasn't suggesting that you should be.

Based on past experience, this is probably exactly what we should have expected. Not that they wouldn't do anything, only that they wouldn't do anything quickly. Somebody earlier (on the radio I think) mentioned that they're not one of the teams diving headfirst into free agency making desperate moves, and I think that's probably the smart thing.

But they do need to make some moves....

Pioli is now in year 3 of pretty much ignoring the NT position

It is also great that nnamdi and revis are not on the same team in the afc.
