I would be more would be more worried about how off the field decisions, such as no girls after 10 and no cell phones, will hurt recruiting more than his ability to coach a team.

They keep getting throttled by nearly 50 points, and the no girls after 10 thing will become a non-issue.

I thought the Gill hire was was a good one, considering the other rumors weren't ever going to happen... and I'm willing to give him at least a couple of years.

OTOH, damn, talk about taking a few steps back.

Ill give him a couple of years as well. It sure as hell looks like a horrible couple of years though.

Worse than Mangino staying around? I doubt it.

Hey guys, I just want to say that you all should be patient with this program. I mean TG is going to be a good coach. With his lenient rules regarding players girlfriends and his pro scheme, recruiting is going to be very good this year.
Hang in there fellas.

This,

I was going to give Gill the benefit of the doubt. Was being the key word..

We need to cut losses at the end of this year and bring in a real football coach.

You can't give up on a coach after 5 games. It doesn't make any sense.

That's right. You should have given up on him after 1 game.

How are they going to fine 8:00 minutes from week 5 where Baylor wasn't dancing in the endzone?

Reason 1: They scored 3 freaking points.
Reason 1-A: They did it at home.
Reason 1-AA: They lost to a 1-AA.

None of those are good reasons to give up on a coach in his first game. Nice try, though.

55-7?

WTF?

I know that. It's even better that he's going to be around for a few years. I can't believe you actually fired Mangino. It's so good.
