Wasn't that all settled in the lawsuit Merriman filed against the supplement company?

Oh, right, he never actually did that. Despite going on and on about how he was going to sue. And despite his outrage at the whole thing ruining his spotless reputation.

Do you think we haven't heard all this before? You sound like every Chargers fan out there until they finally realized he was a juiced-up fraud.

LOL, I hope you aren't suggesting that the Chiefs are an elite team. They haven't proven that. Sounds like you might be basing your judgment of the Chiefs on last year...cuz you sure can't be basing it on the previous three years where they went 4-12, 2-14, and 4-12 again, or this year's preseason, where you should never be placing your judgment of a team.

Last year the Chiefs played 3 games against teams with a winning record. They went 1-2 in those games, beating the Chargers, who went on to beat them 0-31 later in the year. Then they got spanked by the Ravens in the playoffs.

Before last year, the Chiefs were 4-12, just like the Bills were last year. Not to put your team down, but these are the fact. You definitely took a step forward or two, but you still have some respect to earn; until you do, you should expect these things to be brought up.

Last year is all we have to go by really, along with a projection of how changes that were made will take effect. You are right though - this year is a whole new ballgame. I don't think you will run over us like you did before with the rushing game.

Bam! BigRock in once again with the hammer! Merriman is another example of a market needing to sell tickets, and give fans hope.

Doesn't prove a thing. It's not as black and white as all that. I think Merriman has God-given talent, and said so while he was still a Charger. To me, the issue is his injuries at this juncture.

It's like Spygate with the Patriots. Everyone turns and says that was the only reason for their success. It wasn't.

That's bullshit. First of all, Bills fans buy tickets anyway. Merriman is a risk, I'll admit that. But it's a risk well worth taking IMO.

Still, no Bills fan has shown me where the Bills are better than the Chiefs. You'd think this would be an easy question to answer considering how the Bills are gonna kick the Chief's ass this Sunday...

Maybe you should try looking at something other than his shrunken up ballsack smashing into your face?

I haven't seen any Bills fans coming here saying we are going to kick the Chief's ass this Sunday...that's not the general thrust of it anyway. Many have suggested that it's not a foregone conclusion that the Chiefs will win, like some Chiefs fans seem to think. Some have even said they think the Chiefs will win. Personally, I expect the Bills to win, but, then again, that's what makes me a fan. The real truth is probably that it's anybody's game.

It's pretty much impossible to show you that the Bills are better than the Chiefs, whether it's true or not. Most people have their minds made up already, and the only real way to prove it is on the field. That's why they play the games.

No it's not. Im looking for a fair analysis on why the Bills are better. Position by position, I wanna know why you think the Bills are the stronger team.

Hammock Parties 09-07-2011 02:03 PM

As far as I can tell from their fans, the Bills hopes rest entirely on Dareus and Merriman dominating the Chiefs' offensive line, shutting down KC's offense and forcing turnovers.

Even Bills fans can't rationally conclude their offense is going to drive the field on the Chiefs for multiple scores.

I've laid out a ton of shit about what I think of the Bills and this matchup. Why don't you tell me why you think the Chiefs are the stronger team?

The only teams that are given less of a chance to win on Sunday then the Bills are

Miami
Bungles
Manningless Colts
Panthers
Vikings

Shit happens but that's not great company to be in.

That's great and all but all I've seen you do is talk up your team. If you honestly think the Bills are going to win, show me how they're going to do it. You think your receivers are going to torch our secondary or something? You think your O-Line is stronger than our D-Line?

Position by position, show me.

1. The Bills literally have no answer for KC's pass rush + secondary. You have no offensive line and one receiver. You won't be able to pass.

2. The Bills don't have a high-level ground game to fall back on. Because of your completely inept passing attack, the Chiefs are going to stack the box and completely shut down the run.

3. Conclusion: The Bills won't be putting together long scoring drives.

I don't care what happens with KC's offense. The Bills have one elite defender, a raw rookie and a bunch of retreads and garbage from last year. They might play OK, but the giant mismatch of Buffalo's offense against KC's defense is going to win this game.
