Overall, not a bad loss. Shields looked good.

Like it or not our season is based on what Hosmer & Moose do this season.

Power lineup. Swing at shit and watch good pitches down the middle. Easy to ground out when ya swing at shit almost in the dirt all game.

Would have been nice to win today but Sale was on his game today. If Beckham doesn't make that outstanding catch this game is in extra innings.

I chose to watch Kevin Ware's breakdance for 3 hours over the royals today.

I didn't see the score until I just logged on when I got home. I wasn't shocked to see a loss because I can't remember the last time the Royals won on opening day. :shake:

yep. It took an amazing catch, the kind where you mutter "well, shit" and sit back after seeing it, to keep the lead.

Kansas City and Chicago played to a 1-0 finish? Soccer is so boring.

Just as Ive said all along...the Royals problems last years was not all pitching.

I was at work and couldn't watch, but I did get to see the final at bat, much to my dismay.

In a style that only Francouer can provide, he swings at a breaking ball that looked almost like a hanger, but being pull happy, he rolls over it and grounds it meekly to short. If he does what any SMART hitter would do down by 1 with a man on second, which is go with the pitch to opposite field, it's a tie ballgame.

I'm COUNTING how many games Francouer costs us this year. IMO, this is one.
