This is the best thing about today's game.

Getz has been pretty ****ing good. I'm pleasantly surprised by his hitting.

Salvy was making the best contact of anyone at today's game. The balls just didn't break his way. Ned's strategy with ph'ing butler to force the intentional walk and then force the pitcher out of the game was pretty slick.

Division is ours!! Now time to release Frenchy and start Dyson everyday.

Would be great to be 3-3 heading into the Twins series.

FYP :)

Everyone (exclude Frenchy) looks more patient at the plate this year, which is big for young guys to learn. I think that is pretty encouraging for our offense.

For Hosmer, he's not overstriding, lunging with the front shoulder. If he stays back and firm on the front side with his natural instincts........look the **** out.

Perez had arguably the best day at the plate of anyone and took a hard-luck 1-4.

Dude is going to be a ****ing animal.

Demonpenz 04-05-2013 10:25 PM

Hosmer big thing also is swinging at strikes. I don't know how he stayed on a 3-2 curve..Yeah and Perez is the best catcher ever.

This is all about approach. If you're overstriding, lunging, it also means you're guessing. People joke, but it really is "see ball, hit ball." Being patient enough for the first part to come true is the trick.

Hitters must trust their hands.

Demonpenz 04-05-2013 10:32 PM

He looks good. What if Hosmer becomes the dude that is the super star...it will be like YAY HOSMER IS HERE..OH HE SUCKS. YEAH I TOLD YOU GUYS.
