First you said, you bought the bottle of beer at 10:30, then you said you bought the bottle of beer at 11:30...

My only gripe about this game is that money is hard to get. You don't even get paid for most of the jobs you do. Buying businesses seems like a waste because they cost $200,000+ and you're lucky to get a couple grand a week per business (a week seems to take a while in this game too)

I haven't looked it up, but for me, the best way to make money is by using the stock market but Franklin seems to be the only one who gets stock tips.

I just want to buy that $150,000,000 golf course dammit! :cuss:

Switch over to the other characters when u get stock tips and buy. I made like 20k for mike and franklin like that in a few hours.

Are you able to make cab fair? Also is there vigalante mode when you steal a cop car?

Quesadilla Joe 09-26-2013 03:41 AM

Yeah you can drive cabs for money. Not sure about the cop mode.

I might try switching characters next time I get a stock tip. I'm just barely past the midway point, hopefully some of the later jobs will pay more. I'm starting to think Rockstar designed the game so that you will have a hard time buying everything in the game without spending real money.

kcxiv 09-26-2013 07:02 AM

Damn I got stuck on the game its 6am here. No bueno lol

Easily can get over a billion with stock market. Use the internets. This is the easiest GTA game to get money in, there is just a lot more places to spend it.

In my game that whole stock trick about investing in a company and then blowing up the competition doesnt seem to work.

I bought the theatres on Michael and put the rest of his money in Airmu or w/e its called and then went to the airport to blow up FlyUS planes and the stocks dont change at all.

And I've blown up probably 20 FlyUS planes with a jet I have on Franklin.

You have to do it in concert with lesters assassination missions to make real money.

Stocks are soo freaking easy to get money on, but you really need to do it at the end of the story when you have a big amount of cash to spend, because obviously the more money you spend for shares, the bigger your profits.

Take a look at companies with ridiculously low stocks. If their graph shows steady up and down movement, dump a shit ton of cash into their shares and just wait for the inevitable rise back to the top.

The graphs show activity based on a week of game world time, or roughly the past 3.5 real world hours. So when you buy stocks, you will need to periodically check to see what the status is. If the graph showed 3 spikes to the top for last week, then you know that sometime within the next couple of hours (depending on what point of the week youre currently in on the game) theres going to be a couple of points where you can sell your shares for a big profit.

To make sure you get as much as you can, you can do what I do. I wait until it hits the really high point, and then just as it starts to drop just a little I go ahead and sell. You lose a tiny bit, but its better than missing out and selling before it ever reached the peak.

Don't buy stocks where the graph shows just a constant downward spiral, as they may not come back up for quite some time.

I would advise new game players to not play any of Lesters missions as Franklin until you've completed the main story, so that you will have a massive amount of cash to dump into these "sure thing" stock trades while on these missions.

Another thing to note is this.

LCN is the singleplayer stock market. This will only advance while you are playing the game, and you will constantly have access to your money at any time.

BAWSAQ however, is the online stock market linked to the R* Social Club, and is constantly moving. Your console needs to be connected online to make use of this particular page. Make sure you resolve your trades before you shut down, as you could potentially not have access to your money should something happen with the Social Club, or you cannot connect to the Social Club for whatever reason. I dropped 10 million in shares, and the Social Club went down due to load or maintentance or something, so I couldn't access my trades at all. By the time it came back up, I missed my window for profit and got screwed.

is there an easier way to buy 100's of shares than x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,

The longer you hold the button, the faster you buy.

There's no "real money" in doing that because you have very little to start with.

You may make a couple hundred thousand but I dont care about that shit since I've spent millions and make that in a week from the theatres.

I'm talking about turning millions into 150+ million.

She went straight to the strip club within 5 minutes btw. Starts chucking money and gets a lap dance. Smh.

That is awesome. My wife wouldn't be caught dead playing this game. I think I scarred her on Fable 2, when I got a hooker to be my wife, renamed her my wifes name, and then one day when my wife was giving me a hard time, I killed my fable wife lol. Our kids went for adoption hahahahahaha.

That's awesome for you though.

So, I finally met Trevor last night. WWWWWWOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW

This dude is going to be a lot of fun. I was getting pretty annoyed with the be a good boy shit from Franklin and Mike.

I will say this about this game.

I love how it is easier to escape your stars now. I remember before on like GTA3, that if you were targeted with 5 stars, you were pretty much a dead man. I like that it seems easier to throw the heat here.

Also, has anyone else driven the big pay loader?

Pay attention to what I am saying.

You take the 1 million or so you make from your heists and reinvest it while you do Lester assassination missions.

NETTING UP TO 1.5 BILLION.

read the guide. make the money. 150 mil is pocket change in GTA V

http://www.reddit.com/r/GrandTheftAu..._with_lesters/

Not to mention, why spend money to buy business? If you have the money on your character you can glitch the game and buy anything for free as I explained a few posts back.
