IF he's healthy, I agree with you that we shouldn't. But, like I stated, if he's not, then we should.

Just listened to Andy's presser & judging from his comments I don't think Justin Houston will be playing.

Hope I'm wrong.

NFL.com says that Houston and Ware are good to go. Article is dated from today after noon.

That was based on a tweet from a local guy, which was based on Reid's comments that are open to interpretation.

Even if he's 75% that's still better than full time Hali and Zombo. Having Hali able to come in as an extra rusher and having a good pass rush rotation is big in this game. Writing off a guy who can come in and dominate is silly.

What? He mentioned Houston and Ware specifically when he said that everybody was good to go.

He'll the past two weeks he's said that Houston could have played. They held him out so he would be as healthy as possible for the playoffs. He'll play

What's the plan with Justin Houston this week?

Practice and see how he does.

Do you anticipate Justin starting this week?

We'll see how that works. He's had a couple good weeks of practice and we'll see how he does.
Andy smoke screens all the time but it sounds like it could be 50/50. Hopefully he practices Wednesday and then we'll know for sure.

Not having heard the entire presser and only reading this exchange, I hope Andy is pulling the ol' Big-Ben-in-a-boot charade. If not, this is a bit concerning. They cannot afford to push Houston in the playoffs like they did last year.

I think he's just being cautious. Houston is good to go right now, and barring any setbacks over the course of the week, he should be good to go on Sunday. But since there's a chance of a setback, Reid's not guaranteeing anything.

You better hope because we don't need a Tomlin type in the AFC West.

Terry Bradshaw said that Tomlin isn't a great coach. A Tomlin type shouldn't scare anybody in the AFC West. I agree with Bradshaw, Tomlin benefited from inheriting a good team from Cowher and having Dick LeBeau.
