How did that work out? Would you say they "botched the relationship"?

Not surprising.

People shocked that no other NFL team made an offer...its called being blackballed. Same thing happened to Kaep. Kroenke is a piece of shit, but he seems to be an open minded piece of shit. First he drafted Michael Sam, now he picks up the angry black that the rest of the NFL refuses to touch.

LMAO

Are we comparing Peters with a murderous pos now? Last I checked Marcus Peters hasn’t killed anyone.

We're pretty ****ing far afield with your flight of fancy where Arrowhead stadium was just a mass of cornfed yockels slobbering for Peters to be lynched at the nearest available tree, and that's a significant [let alone a noticeable] factor in the trade decision.

Peters was a known wildcard who dropped out of the top 10 to us on behavioral and mentality concerns.

We took a chance on his mercurial nature late in the 1st, with the express promise that we had looked into his soul and found something we could work with.

Both his talent and his demeanor showed up exactly as they did before, so none of that was unexpected. But what was expected is that we would take the time while he was under contract to get him to buy in to what we offered.

Now the organization has pretty much admitted that they failed in either their assessment of Peters, their ability to mold him into a team player, or his longstanding determination to get back to where he is comfortable.

So we're parlaying a late 1st and 3 years of effort, . . . into a talented player leaving and us receiving 'the equivalent' of a late 2nd.

But your one-track mind wants to go back to how the nameless faceless whitebread masses were just too mean for this fragile millionaire to bear.

It's either Peters' job to block that noise out, or the organization's job to convince him to do so. They're the two entities in the business of marketing their skills and services for millions and billions in profit out of those meanie's pockets.

Now he's gone, and we've never heard word one about exactly why he behaved as he did, even though he knew it was controversial, and even though he knew people were putting words in his mouth and making judgement based on that.

This was the dumbest shit in the world

Agreed. I would be inclined to keep him for one more year and see if you could let him mature. However, if the coaches say he can't be fixed, I guess we are screwed.

There is no doubt in my mind that we got peanuts for a star. The only way this works out for us is if he self-immolates ala Dale Carter and is out of the league in a few years. If he goes on and does great things for the Rams, we will look like idiots.

Told you mother****ers....he dropped this in Veache's lap. Chunt is a douchebag...a lying, thieving douchebag.

It smells of Hunt for sure. Peters is bad for business and he was embarassed.

Blowing the two of the biggest leads in play-off history is too....in five short years.

They could also just win a SB any time soon.

Of course they are going to say that.

You think they are going to say that this is a fifty-fifty gamble but he may be a future HOF? I doubt it.

You gamble on enough of these type of players some will pay off, see Tyreek Hill, some don't.

It sucks losing a top 5 corner. But KC got 3 really good years out of a player on a rookie contract and got a second rounder back. It wasn't like they spent a first on a player who eventually got cut without ever really seeing the field.
