Gordon's been hugely disappointing, but he's had the same value as Colon? And Morales is just slightly better than both of them? And Colon is more valuable than Cuthbert? His 1st career HR the other day must have really boosted his value. JFC...

So what are we going to do about 2B? Whit has looked very good, but he is likely not an everyday 2B based on his MILB results and prospect status. As I've told everybody all year, Mondesi won't be ready until 2018. He simply has no pitch recognition yet and cannot hit a baseball. Wouldn't be bad to carry him on the roster next year as a defensive replacement but we need a real 2B.

Go look at the MLB 2B that are qualified for stats. TONS of great ones. What about Ian Desmond? I know he plays CF now I think for Texas, but he can play 2B and play CF based on match ups.

He's on a one year deal with Texas. Wonder what it would take to get him. 4-years, 60 million? Would be nicer if we have a 2B option for just a year. Or, maybe we trade Dozier or Cuthbert for a legit 2B who has 1 year left on a bad team. I used to want to trade Moose but I'm just not comfortable with Cuthbert at 3B defensively. Dozier and/or Cuthbert would be a good option for a rotating DH next year. I love Morales, but money is better spent on 2B where we have a gaping hole. We can reasonably fill DH on our own, especially compared to other teams.
