I was bothered more by the Mangino firing than Gill's hiring, because of the way it was handled... but I guess when you're that much of a dick, you better win football games.

I guess trolls will troll and get their shots in whenever they can (not necessarily Saul Good, but whatever), but I don't know how any KU/Chiefs fan can look at the first few games with a new coach and want the guy fired. Mangino went 2-10 (0-8) his first year and went to the Tangerine Bowl the next year..... Self, Haley....

Even if he should be fired (he shouldn't be), you have to give him at least 2-3 years. Nobody worth a damn is going to coach a school that just dumped 2 coaches.

Speaking of recruiting ... What do you do with a recruit on a visit without cell phones, with a 10 pm curfew and no girls allowed? Are recruits cell phones also confiscated on Friday?
