You're a genius, I can't believe you aren't hired as a GM.

FYI, the Royals payroll has been in the $70 million range until this year. Are you mad that we didn't go crazy trying to sign guys like Crawford and Worth? Or maybe you're a pitching type of guy still fuming over Cliff Lee going to another team. What do you expect out of a small market system? We aren't New York.

I suggest dropping baseball all together or moving if you hate the way the team is going about things.

You Royals "trolls" need to go elsewhere until you grow up and learn they've brought the local critisizm onto themselves, they didn't need our help! OK, I can't wait to hear more Royals suck-ups have a problem with that truth too!

It's pretty easy to not click on the thread, just like I didn't click on the thread you started about Tucson, Arizona on a Chiefs board.

Good, you bring no value to any thread.. As for me choosing to do my part ot express my disapproval on the team that my tax dollars support, I'll click and type all I wan't so how about you just STFU and not reply..

You're really not worth replying to, but I don't think anyone gives a shit about you expressing your disapproval. Many(all) of the "Royals suck-ups" have spent plenty of time criticizing the moves made by them. That said, if you can't see that the future is bright with what we have in the farm system, then I'm not sure anyone can help you.

As far as the rest of the nonsensical posts, you come in swinging and say that Royals fans shouldn't have a Royals thread on this board, when you start threads asking how Tucson, AZ is and the front page of this board is littered with poop threads. That's what I was referring to.

But feel free to continue posting groundbreaking information about how the Royals have been bad for a long time.

Do you live in Lee's Summit? If so, your tax dollars don't support the team.

Alrighty, I'm planning on 15-20 royals games this year. Sitting out the Cardinals games though for the first year in a while because work will be nuts that month. How many games you guys hitting up?

I'll probably go to 12-15 this year. That's normally about how many I make it out to.

Yet you reply anyway. And you really aren't over Tucson, that was a while ago, get over it troll...

Keep sucking up to the Royals, I'm sure until they get lucky you'll be able to attend all the games you want. After that, you'll be an RSTN fan... I'm more upset about the parking they take up from Arrowhead and the tax money we waste on them than the fact that they're one of the perennial worst teams in baseball. But kiss their butts, you're good at sucking up!!

It was noted by several writers nationwide that the ultimatum was given, just because you are Glass supporter doesn't erase the fact that he was forced into spending more money. At one point the Glass family forced the GM to draft college seniors after the 4th round and were told to sign them to cheap bonuses. So save it for someone who doesn't know about the Glass family past.

If the best you'll be able to come up with is a few comments about underpaying for the draft, that doesn't support your argument. Glass has gone enormously above and beyond many other teams in the draft, the minor leagues (one more team than some others), international signings, and payroll.

If you are going to say "the other owners made him", I'll laugh at you and call bullshit. I fully acknowledge he was crap in the late 90's and early 2000's, but you seem to be stuck in a time loop. If you want to give him no credit whatsoever for paying way over slot and going to 70+ million last season, then you are just being stupid.

For one thing, the Pirates apparently didn't get the memo.

2010 $34,943,000

Any particular weekends you looking forward too? Weekend of April 29th, my cousins are coming down from Minn. Should be blast, I really love those guys.

And hopefully the Royals won't be out of contention by then.

I found this to be very interesting...it shows where the current Royals prospects fit in with draft eligible prospects:

2011 Top 250 Prospects: Special Version

Prospect lists are normally limited to players signed by a major league team. However, since this is irrelevant for fantasy purposes, the following is a version of our top prospects list that includes professional, amateur, and international prospects. ”Non traditional” prospects are listed in bold. I will update the “regular” prospect list in the near future, but hopefully, this list helps teams in deep keeper leagues who want to take advantage of a deep draft class by picking “off the prospect list.” As always, feedback is definitely appreciated so let us know which players you think are rated too high or too low.

They are out of contention now.

However, even a bad team will win 1 out of 3 games. This year is about watching Butler, Moustakas, and any other minor leaguers who come up. That, and taking advantage of any cool promotions they throw at us in a desperate attempt to salvage their attendance numbers while waiting for 2012-2013.

I don't get the Bryce Harper thing. Some publications has him as the number 1 prospect in all of baseball. Others say that he was rushed into the draft because he wouldn't go top 5 next year. What gives?

Yeah, I might go to some extra games this year to see the some of our 'amazing farm' players get their first taste of real life.
