FYI, the Royals payroll has been in the $70 million range until this year. Are you mad that we didn't go crazy trying to sign guys like Crawford and Worth? Or maybe you're a pitching type of guy still fuming over Cliff Lee going to another team. What do you expect out of a small market system? We aren't New York.

You're really not worth replying to, but I don't think anyone gives a shit about you expressing your disapproval. Many(all) of the "Royals suck-ups" have spent plenty of time criticizing the moves made by them. That said, if you can't see that the future is bright with what we have in the farm system, then I'm not sure anyone can help you.

went to an all you can gorge seats last summer. they were great. hot dog buns were stale, but billy got us a free sonic slushie, and we beat the rangers. i kept yelling "ron washington loves COKE"!!!

If the best you'll be able to come up with is a few comments about underpaying for the draft, that doesn't support your argument. Glass has gone enormously above and beyond many other teams in the draft, the minor leagues (one more team than some others), international signings, and payroll.

If you are going to say "the other owners made him", I'll laugh at you and call bullshit. I fully acknowledge he was crap in the late 90's and early 2000's, but you seem to be stuck in a time loop. If you want to give him no credit whatsoever for paying way over slot and going to 70+ million last season, then you are just being stupid.

They are out of contention now.

However, even a bad team will win 1 out of 3 games. This year is about watching Butler, Moustakas, and any other minor leaguers who come up. That, and taking advantage of any cool promotions they throw at us in a desperate attempt to salvage their attendance numbers while waiting for 2012-2013.

I don't get the Bryce Harper thing. Some publications has him as the number 1 prospect in all of baseball. Others say that he was rushed into the draft because he wouldn't go top 5 next year. What gives?
