That's where you and some of the others differ here. You're stating that you either want a young potentially great HC or a proven veteran HC. You don't want to take a chance on an HC that has failed once.

All I know is there are a few coaches that have put the failure behind them learned from it, and with how the players seemed to respond to Crennel, I say give him a shot. Probably won't matter with Cassel anyway.

A young unproven coach would have made me angry. It would have felt like going down the Haley path, he'd have to learn on the job, and earn what Crennel already has, the players trust.

Everyone else should get shot besides the defensive co-ordinator who Saved 2010, with an All-Pro job of on the fly chemistry, who **** you if he didnt do an Incredible Job last year, both as dc & hc, maintaining balance & control, keeping games close that really shouldnt have been.
