****ing David. When she had her face in the fence is when she became Ellie to me. She's been great for the whole series, but that shot right there sold me 100% on it. She was the right choice.

Ok, as I am replaying this game parallel to this series, I cannot get over how well they have done this! I LOVE this series and they have taken the time to tell the story and still pass off the scenery! Unbelievable! They are really doing a great job so far and I am loving it!

One thing I like about this show is that while it is clearly still serialized and there is a general story they’re following (finding Tommy, delivering Ellie to the Fireflies, the development of the Joel/Ellie relationship, etc.), it’s also episodic in that there is a defined beginning, middle and and an end to several episodes as they tell the stories of the other characters they come across on their journey or in their past (Frank/Bill, Henry/Sam, Riley, and now this cannibal cult). There’s no lingering in any one place with the same characters and it is making these episodes just fly by. It’s been exceptionally well done.

This is the best show on TV right now. It's a top 3 show of all time for me. That episode, holy shit.
