Yes you certainly get first year starters in the 4th round. Nico is a great pick? It's a decent pick nothing more.

Matt Barkley said that he heard the Chiefs were trying to trade up.

What did they say? I missed it. Was it about the best in-line blocking TEs?

Has any NFL guy ever said, "We panicked"? Yet it happens all the time. Milkman's right that you can't take what Reid says at face value. He may not have been lying. But you can't assume that he wasn't in this type of situation.

Smokescreen. If we really wanted him seriously a 7th.

I highly doubt we wanted him. Matt Scott still available.

if they wanted Barkley, they would have taken him 3 picks ago

JFC

Ya take broken ankle Davis instead of Barkley if you really wanted barkley. Dumbasses if that's the case.

Pay the **** attention.

I am not saying I believe the Chiefs were out manuevered.

I am saying, even if they were, Reid would not admit that they were, so I don't pay any attention to anything said.

The Chiefs Kingdom!

Did you see the commercial about John Dorsey's pen? It has been busy! Oh, man!

Bryan Mattison.

Hootie 04-27-2013 10:42 AM

there is no way they would have drafted a project RB to sit behind Charles if they wanted Barkley and risked Barkley not being there 3 picks later

that's just ****ing ridiculous

Mosbonian 04-27-2013 10:42 AM

The reality is that in any draft beyond the first 2 rounds most teams are just taking a flyer on a player.

If they wanted him they had plenty to get him. Way more than that whopper of a 7 the Eagles gave.
