http://denver.cbslocal.com/2016/03/0...-world-report/ But that's splitting hairs. Who gives a shit if it's 2.8m? Who ****ing cares? And who cares if they have some nearby population centers either - KC has 250k in Topeka, 125k in St Joe, and 100k in Lawrence all within an hour of The K. Quit making excuses. Denver has great sports fans, everyone in the world knows it, they support 4 pro teams, and they're better than we are with attendance. Why dispute facts? |

Oh, and pro tip: I live in the Springs, and just did work in the city where I analyzed the population of the front range. It's clear from your posts that you don't have a true understanding of the area's population. But hey, troll away PB. |
Most sports teams get only 5-10% of their attendance from outside their metro. The Royals themselves did a survey ~2000 and came up with 7%. (And we are supposedly a "regional franchise").
So attendance isn't driven much by Topeka or Col Springs. Nearly everyone you'd survey at Coors Field is from the Denver area. |

In the end, this take is pretty nonsensical. But it's what you do, you troll heavily and get me and others to devote way too much time responding to your takes. |

But at the same token, the dude has provided money takes over the years. It's clear he's a fan with a strange way to show his devotion to the team. He does the same thing with KUBball. But PB can add a lot to the conversation. His optimistic takes on 2017 have been a nice change of pace. |
