Well if he's a betting man, I'm betting it's a ****ing ton.

I thought it looked familiar. I figured he made a lot of dumbass statements about mediocre to bad QBs. I stand by my response.

BossChief 11-23-2011 01:57 PM

I mean, really.

I was against putting in a claim because I truly believe in Stanzi once he gets a shot...but I didnt know about the comp pick part.

IIRC, the comp pick is relative to the round the player was originally drafted so, we would essentially be getting a 4th round pick for 2 million?

For a team in need of quality depth and a few starters, that's a no brainer IMO.

ROFL

I get it why R8turds fan wants orton to be a Chief. So why the hell any Chiefs fan would want him here is beyond me?

There is a reason Orton got cut by the Broncows. He sucks. After all the years of rehash QBs with Carl Peterson, Chiefs fans still want to do the same damn thing. **** ing dumb.

Titty Meat 11-23-2011 02:00 PM

Sounds like Orton is a bitch.

BigMeatballDave 11-23-2011 02:03 PM

Chiefs are 4-6. Why would he want to come here?

1. The FO has shown no intent on giving Stanzi snaps.
2. Orton would actually help develop the WRs and Oline.
3. Even if he refuses to play.....we'll just sit him and collect a comp pick.
4. It ****s over the Bears.

He doesn't have to report, so it kind of is.

I believe he will though. Him saying he's told certain teams he wont report is because he wants to go back to Chicago. Him not reporting to a team doesn't help him in trying to land a starting gig next season.
