These are my favorites that always get trotted out for some reason.

What do the New England Patriots have to do with attacks that took place in NYC, Washington, DC, and a plane crash in Pennsylvania?
You know, all those places actually have teams.

The Saints won "after" Katrina...that is true...5 years later.

PATRIOTS are PATRIOTIC

Get it?

If the game was rigged I doubt Denver gets blown out in Superbowl 48
Not sure how the league benefits from people turning the game off halfway through the 3rd quarter

People see what they want to see

cosmo20002 02-23-2016 09:10 AM

I saw a game I'm sure was rigged. The QB threw a pass to a receiver and the ball was a little out of his reach and he couldn't catch it. I mean, right!
Another time, an RB was running and got hit really hard and he dropped the ball. They are paid not to do that! This shit doesn't just happen.
Plus the team had won several games in a row, and then they just suddenly lost? Out of nowhere. It was in the playoffs against another good team, but I mean, come on...

I don't even see how fixing the SB winner really helps the NFL that much anyway. The tickets are sold, ad slots sold out and set. What's really the difference to them who wins?

If you want to argue next year's marketing, it would seem that having new star Cam Newton win would be more beneficial than Peyton, who will likely not even be in the league next year and who has something of a HGH scandal hanging over him.

No. Much like pussy, or respect, cocksmoke2002 doesn't get it. The concept is too abstract for that feeble rotting walnut that cocksmoke calls a brain to handle.

Maybe the league owed Payton one for totally laying down against the Seahawks a couple years ago?

One thing is for certain : the NFL will take care of you if you play their game the way they want it.

Micheal Irvin is a crackhead - still got a job.
Lawrence Taylor rapes 16 year old prostitutes - still got a job
Warren Sapp - prostitutes and doesn't pay his child support - still got a job

Peyton's buddy, Jim Bob Cooter crawled into some chick's window and tried to rape her - still got a job.

I don't think the NFL gives a **** about Peyton's HGH allegations lol

Don't know if you guys remember but that was the year the tuck rule all but saved the Pats ass then fast forward to the Super Bowl and right before the Pats were announced the tv commentator said something like,"Choosing to be introduced as a team because united we stand divided we fall,The New England Patriots! And the team ran onto the field.

Again,I don't care what people believe but some of the facts like the above are damn interesting.

Owed him...uh-huh...and Peyton would have sued them had the NFL not kept up its end?

The 'tuck rule' saved their asses in the divisional round, then Drew Bledsoe came in and saved their assess against Pittsburgh...

Sapp's prostitution case was in 2015. he retired in 2008.
LT retired in 1993. The 16 year old was in 2010. Can we please, pretty please, try to be at least a little honest, here?
