You guys are playing a little loose with the facts here. Roethlisberger's junior year, Miami was a really, really good team. That was probably one of the best MAC teams of all time. They lost their first game, and then won out. I forget who it was but they beat the crap out of their BCS opponent in the bowl game.

They finished the season ranked at or near the top 10 in both polls. They also beat the crap out of a ranked Bowling Green team Urban Meyer built, twice. That Miami team was certainly not the Hurricanes of that era but they didn't embarrass themselves either. They were a legit top 25 team.
