What point were you trying to make by posting a preseason report from this past August on Geno Smith?

DomerNKC 12-17-2012 11:46 PM

still is accurate...

Saying Geno has average accuracy is like saying Andrew Luck had average accuracy.

They're both ****ing fly-off-your-ass gunslingers.

How often do you see a guy throw into a window AND throw it so his WR doesn't get killed? And do it ON THE RUN?

just not a fan of the crossover from the spread offense. A gimmick offense that makes great numbers just not great QBs.

He hasn't actually watched Geno so he hasn't seen Geno do anything

wow, that receiver made a huge adjustment! Was he trying to throw that away? Looks like that accuracy problem rearing its ugly head.

DomerNKC 12-17-2012 11:55 PM

Although not a member of the Geno Smith fan club, i got to see a couple of games of his this season as well as his highlights every week. Thanks for assuming...

Geno Smith, if only your intermediate throws were more accurate!

If Geno didn't throw that ball where he threw it, the receiver would have been ****ing killed.

Do you have any more proof other than all of his incredible QB skills that would indicate he might be a decent QB?

Hammock Parties 12-18-2012 12:35 AM

Donovan McNabb had a very successful career, despite all the lulz he was associated with.

Steve McNair falls in the same category, even if he was injured, and the same goes for Randall Cunningham.

We're talking about 30,000-yard passers.

You don't need to be an all-time great, 50,000-yard first ballot HOFer to qualify as an NFL success story. Troy Aikman, Jim Kelly, Steve Young...none of those guys even threw for 40,000 yards.

If Geno Smith is Randall Cunningham I'll JIMP. In fact, a guy like Randall would have dominated the NFL today since QBs are more protected and the rules are completely swung in their favor. In Randall's day you could rape a QB with rusty knives and the officials wouldn't do anything.
