Actually, it really hasn't been that great of a division. But the last 3 NL MVPs have come from there, and the teams tend to make some noise in the playoffs.

Thats what I meant really. The Cardinals dominated the division early in the 2000's and sorta sputtered late. But if they bring back Pujols and Waino is healthy, with the SP we potentially have coming up we are set up pretty good.

If Freese can stay healthy I think he has shown what he could do over the whole year as well.

If anyone would have asked a month and a half ago, "The Cardinals will beat the Brewers in the NLCS to go to the WS" I would have laughed in their face.
