With potential franchise QBs available in next year's draft, the Raiders would be fools to look to Carr as their leader.

Carr is a more talented passer than any of the guys next year. The only guy you would take over him is Mariota and even that is a bit questionable considering the fact that he is a much bigger project. Raiders would be better off getting Carr a #1 WR and a running game next off-season.

You guys would be drooling over the kid if Dorsey drafted him.

He sucks dude. You are the same dude that said Houston was overrated.

Everywhere except for here and probably the Jags fanbase, Carr is viewed as the best and most impressive of the rookie QBs.

everyone who is worth a damn knows that Carr is in a terribble situation

I think Carr is doing an amazing job as a rookie on that shit invested, talentless team.

Seriously, if you get him a quality coach and talent he could be great. He is putting up decent stats for being on a crap team, and doing it as a rookie.

I think people are missing that point.

Thankfully, it is the Raiders, I doubt they do what they need.

Yeah, like, if it wasn't for him they'd be 0-8 or something. There is no excuse for 6> YPA or 10> YPC through 8 games. That's Ponder production.

This fan base is warped. Since none of you have ever seen a high draft pick QB play as a rookie for the Chiefs I don't blame you for bashing another teams rookie QB.

0 QB's drafted by the Chiefs in the 1st or 2nd rd in over 20+years.

0 playoff wins in over 20+ years!

coincidence?

LMAO

Are you in ****ing la-la land or taking crazy pills or something? It's the ****ing Raiders. I wouldn't be worried if you had the next Joe Montana because you'd **** him up, too. He's doomed. Until you get new ownership you'll be bottom feeders. Just stop. Your franchise has stage 4 terminal cancer. Hope for a miracle.

Carr is by far the best rookie QB. He has tons of potential. He's just in a shit team

Sam Bradford is his ceiling.

You're right they know how **** up QB's. Just ask Rich Gannon.

Speaking of Joe Montana..... Wasn't that the last time the Chiefs won a playoff game with him under center?

SB winners develop their own QB! The Raiders are trying with Carr. Meanwhile in KC it's another 9ers retread.

Mother****erJones 11-07-2014 05:16 PM

Shit brick has point, that's why we won't win the SB.

Christian Ponder- 2012- 9.8 YPC
Colt McCoy- 2011- 5.9 YPA
Blaine Gabbert- 2011- 5.4 YPA
Jimmy Clausen- 2010- 5.2 YPA
Jimmy Clausen- 2010- 9.9 YPC
Sam Bradford- 2010- 9.9 YPC
JaMarcus Russell- 2009- 5.2 YPA
Brady Quinn- 2009- 5.2 YPA
Matt Cassel- 2009- 5.9 YPA
Marc Bulger- 2009- 5.9 YPA
Brady Quinn- 2009- 9.8 YPC
Derek Anderson- 2008- 5.7 YPA
Ryan Fitzpatrick- 2008- 5.1 YPA
Ryan Fitzpatrick- 2008- 8.6 YPC
Cleo Lemon- 2007- 5.7 YPA
Brodie Croyle- 2007- 5.5 YPA
Brodie Croyle- 2007- 9.7 YPA
Chad Pennington- 2007- 9.9 YPC

Only 19 times in 8 years has a (stat qualifying) QB finished the year with less than 6 yards per attempt or less than 10 yards per completion.

Only Brodie Croyle, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Brady Quinn, and Jimmy Clausen have accomplished both in the same season. Carr is on quite the pace.
