Still haven't watched this, and I love TNG. Worth it?

Two episodes in, and I'd say cautiously yes. Q alone is worth tuning in for, but the storyline seems to be recycled Trek time travel trope. Maybe they'll put a new spin on it we haven't seen to this point with the other various time travel stories, we'll see.

But yeah, give it a shot.

Based on that, I just bought the first season on Amazon Prime. Thanks.

Yep, its looking like it may be the best TV they have done since TNG.

no spoilers as far as I know anyway.

Agreed. Something is off with Q. I think something is not right in The Q realm. The Borg were off. Layers to be revealed yet.

I wonder if Q's child Junior is the cause of some sort of instability within the Continuum.

Oh hey...

Spoiler!

Watched the first episode of Season 1. Confused the hell out of me. But I was half-watching/half-cooking, so maybe I missed something. Visually, it's stunning.

Yeah, the ships and space scenes are fantastic, and the Stargazer looks amazing.

Been watching some Next Generation season 1-2 episodes on BBCA lately. It’s amazing the show lasted past those early seasons. A lot of shaky episodes, corny acting, cheap costumes and sets.

I made it about 3/4 through the first episode and passed out. Looks cool though, and Next Generation is the only Star Trek series i ever got into. It'll be on my list of things to watch.

i wonder if the watcher is a humpback whale
