Tiger will regret that one.

kstater 04-13-2013 01:39 PM

Damn, Tiger can't buy a break this week.

KC_Connection 04-13-2013 01:40 PM

Lipping out 3 footers won't help get there either. He'll have to get some birdies on some non-birdie holes to make up for it.

Old Dog 04-13-2013 01:40 PM

I don't think I've ever seen one do more than a complete circuit around the hole and miss like that

well Tiger needs one of those miracle 3 under stretches here...

he needs to get to -4 somehow

Braincase 04-13-2013 03:17 PM

GOOD CHRIST! Tiger hits a 211 yard 5 iron to set up Eagle on 15... could go to -4 on this putt. Damn!

But he's not a real athlete.

69 is looking like a great score. Has an eagle putt to get to -4. Cabrera dropping at least one shot at 12

Braincase 04-13-2013 03:22 PM

have to settle for bird. 3 off the leaders with 3 to play.

Hootie 04-13-2013 03:23 PM

he needs to go -1 these last 3 to be in good shape and have a little momentum

no losing anymore shots today on this stretch

philfree 04-13-2013 05:42 PM

I went and hit a big bucket of balls and just returned home. Snedeker and Cabrera Couldn't be two more different guys to watch play together. I have to pull for Snedeker who I believe has ties to some folks around these parts.

Yes. His grandparents and mom gre up in the west plains , Thayer mo area in south central mo.

His mom actually went to school with my mom. I know Brandt's uncle pretty well too

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-13-2013 07:31 PM

I played for the first time this year:

38/43 for an 81.

Three doubles on the back did me in. The rough around the greens is incredibly patchy, and if the ball drops down in that bare spot around sprouted grass you're absolutely ****ed, as I play the ball down.

Swung like crap, so I'm not too displeased, but I came to the last needing a par to break 80 only to blade a pitch shot over the green. I was ****ing pissed.

One ball and one tee all day.

Better to go long than land short. 81 isn't anything to be ashamed of.

The course I play has elevated greens that slope back to front. If you go long it's nearly impossible to get up and down, especially since the grass is thin, wispy, and grows on clay.

It's a shot I honestly have no idea what to do with, because the equator of the ball is below the level of the grass, which makes it essentially impossible to hit the ball first.

OnTheWarpath15 04-14-2013 12:33 PM

The old Kraut is unconscious. 3-under through 3 holes.

Rudy tossed tigger's salad 04-14-2013 12:37 PM

Low scores all over the place today. I can't imagine that someone won't post -9/-10.

Rudy tossed tigger's salad 04-14-2013 12:45 PM

**** that long putting asshole

Rudy tossed tigger's salad 04-14-2013 12:48 PM

Holy shit. Day with the Eagle from the bunker. What a start for him.

Old Dog 04-14-2013 12:48 PM

Hell of a bunker shot by Day

Rudy tossed tigger's salad 04-14-2013 12:50 PM

Well so far it doesn't appear to be a choke the least contest. That's good

Old Dog 04-14-2013 01:20 PM

Tiger proves that he can putt like me

OnTheWarpath15 04-14-2013 01:23 PM

Bubba goes Tin Cup.

KC_Connection 04-14-2013 03:32 PM

Cabrera is going to be a 3 time major winner by the time this day is done, I think.

OnTheWarpath15 04-14-2013 03:39 PM

The final pairing goes full reerun at 13.

Think again!

KC_Connection 04-14-2013 03:39 PM

Cabrera tries the Phil shot on 13 out of the pine straw for some reason and fails predictably. Adam Scott to the lead?

I still think he's got this. Playing very steady golf for the most part. Might be important to get the par save here, though.

Dayyy-O!

KevB 04-14-2013 03:43 PM

Adam Scott's swing is so pure

KC_Connection 04-14-2013 03:43 PM

Tiger's going to have another one of his T-5 finishes at the Masters. I wonder if he misses out by 2 shots or so.

It's awesome.

KevB 04-14-2013 03:44 PM

That break for Day may have decided the tourney (obviously a lot left to play out)

OnTheWarpath15 04-14-2013 03:44 PM

If Jason Day holds on to this lead and wins, he can thank that tree.

Hootie 04-14-2013 03:50 PM

Tiger has played better than anyone this week...that one awful break is going to cost him this major.

He is going to win at least 1 this year. He's just playing too good not to.

KC_Connection 04-14-2013 03:56 PM

Maybe they screwed him based on these pictures. Doesn't really matter now, though.

He admitted to moving the ball back two yards...

Hitting that flagstick cost him 3, possibly 4 strokes. Would be a much different tourney right now otherwise...

Well...Tiger may have thought he moved it back 2 yards. Not sure he did based on those.

KC_Connection 04-14-2013 04:03 PM

Adam Scott needs to make a big putt for once if he wants to finally win a major.

KC_Connection 04-14-2013 04:11 PM

Pressure getting to Day?

KC_Connection 04-14-2013 04:14 PM

Tiger will have finished T-6 in seven of his last eight Masters starts if he pars the last. No wins in that time. Certainly gives himself a lot of opportunities, but he's not closing on any of them.

Bowser 04-14-2013 04:18 PM

Supposedly Lindsey Vonn's ex was the one who called in a rules violation on Tiger? He's taking credit on twitter for it, anyway.

Haha, butthurt ex is butthurt.

mlyonsd 04-14-2013 04:18 PM

I wonder what an Augusta Masters umbrella costs at the clubhouse.

KevB 04-14-2013 04:18 PM

Scott just can't get anything to fall

Just not a come from behind guy, and he hasn't been good enough the last several years to go into Day 4 with a lead.

I don't think anything would have been done had Tiger not made the comment about moving it back two yards (whether he actually did move it that far or not)

Yeah, that was the key. Tiger incriminated himself on something he may not have even done.

KC_Connection 04-14-2013 04:26 PM

Angel's making the putts. Day and Scott aren't.

TribalElder 04-14-2013 04:28 PM

no Aussie ever won

Today they both tie for 2nd?

Scott might pull it off but the Argentinian will most likely rally

BigMeatballDave 04-14-2013 04:30 PM

Day is choking.

Couple of wayward irons is going to be his undoing. Overcooked one on 16 and choked on 17. Too bad, I like his demeanor.

He never makes the damn putts. Story of his career. I really hope that changes today.

KevB 04-14-2013 04:43 PM

WOW, can't believe that didn't drop

KC_Connection 04-14-2013 04:43 PM

Great putt...unlucky. Angel isn't afraid of this moment, that's for sure.

KC_Connection 04-14-2013 04:45 PM

Day is going to need some bogeys now. Threw that lead away down the stretch.

KevB 04-14-2013 04:48 PM

Scott's done everything you'd want from tee to green

KC_Connection 04-14-2013 04:49 PM

And another chance for Scott to make a putt to (likely) win a major.

TribalElder 04-14-2013 04:51 PM

Prediction, misses left

TribalElder 04-14-2013 04:52 PM

Prediction wrong!

KevB 04-14-2013 04:52 PM

Awesome

TribalElder 04-14-2013 04:52 PM

Congrats Australia

KC_Connection 04-14-2013 04:53 PM

Awesome. He finally did it.
