I was scrolling through Cameo for shits and giggles and for $500 you can get Tyreek to send you a recorded video wishing a loved one happy birthday/anniversary.

He’s a phenomenal player but anyone who thinks he’s going to go from Mahomes to Tua and not miss a beat is pushing an agenda. While I agree he’ll get force fed, Yua just can’t do what Mahomes can.

No agenda pushing, and honestly, that term is just old now when applied to this topic. Saying it is in of itself "agenda pushing."... Tyreek made Alex Smith (And Matt Moore) look good. He has a unique skill set and is a HOF'er right now who is still in his prime. He can affect a game in so many ways. That skill set will travel well. I'm not saying he won't miss a beat, but I am definitely betting that he'll still have a lot of personal success in Miami. He will not enjoy the same amount of team success, and he'll eventually miss that.

Not to mention he's also never had a WR opposite him almost as explosive as he is.

Those two should put some real fear in defenses.

(Please no one respond putting Hardman in the same breath as Waddle.)

This.

I don't like how people paint him as just a guy that takes the top of the defense or just blows by people. He does, but that's just 1 of his many great attributes. He's a very complete receiver that's elite at every level. Short stuff, intermediate stuff, deep stuff. There's really no weakness in his game.

Individually he'll still be great and will likely be a big reason Miami can make a playoff push (on the way to a first round exit mind you).

I think the problem is he will be used like a turbo Deebo Samuel and he's gonna take punishment that he hasn't taken before. Will be interesting.

Unfortunately , due to Tua's limited passing skills we're going to see how Tyreek should have been utilized better in KC with him getting the ball closer to the LOS and using his quickness to elude defenders.

I hope him all the success in the world. Always liked the guy and always will.

I swear to god, in the AFCCG if Andy would have put Reek in the backfield when Cincy started dropping 8 and rushing 3, their DC would have either adjusted QUICKLY, or Reek would have killed them running into those light boxes. Even Hardman would have given them some fear in the backfield. But Andy for whatever reason didn’t do that. Still ****ing salty.

McKinnon was already killing them. We didn't need to change how we lined up at all. Just hand the ball off.

It's just so weird how we constructed the offensive line but couldn't take advantage of their massive strength.

So he's going to end the season with 1,732 yards?

I think the odds of getting 268 yards in the last game were pretty low, but they weren't zero. I think he got that many for us at least once.

Kiimo 01-03-2024 03:13 PM

If the Bills get the 2 seed, that means we travel to Buffalo in January for the Divisional. The Bills play a LOT better at home.

I’m thinking about the big picture, yes.

You’re talking about MIA, @ BUF, @ BAL. That is far, far worse on paper than BUF, @ MIA, @ BAL.

There’s no point in assuming KC doesn’t win the WC round anyway. If we don’t, then I don’t give a shit about any of this.

ThaVirus 01-03-2024 10:10 PM

PLUS, if Miami wins the East, there’s actually a really, really good chance the Bills aren’t the 6 seed anyway. Or even in the playoffs at all.

The Ravens should be doing everything possible to lose to the Steelers on Saturday. That's a key element of knocking Buffalo out of the Playoffs. I strongly doubt the Ravens would prefer to play Buffalo instead of Pittsburgh in the Playoffs.

Lamar Jackson is sitting out of that Steelers game this weekend, but not sure how many other Baltimore guys are sitting out. Harbaugh's staff needs to do everything possible to lose the game. Hell, they should line up and run full back dives on every play. Lol

I don't think it's that simple. Divisional opponents, particularly the Steelers and Ravens have knockout battles no matter the talent. If I'm the Ravens, I may prefer Buffalo over the Steelers. JMO

Lamar scored like a 13 or something on the Wunderlic and he speaks like someone who grew up in the hood so a lot of people make assumptions about his intelligence.

Also, I’m not sure intelligence is fully linked to decision-making. I’ve known some very intelligent people who were shit decision makers.

That's not a great Wonderlic, but at the same time I've read a few things about Lamar that lead me to believe that he's pretty good at managing his life. My impression is that he's one of those guys who won't be broke five years after retiring.

I think Tyreek is a pretty bright guy when you put him in a room alone, but he seems to have trouble managing his personal life. I hadn't heard about the extramarital girl troubles, and that's not good. He would be well served to step back for a while and learn to live by himself.

He’s definitely from the South. He’s a Florida boy though so his accent is different than say a Tyreek (Georgia) or Chris Jones (Mississippi).

Lamar uses a lot of slang, which I think is the difference.

Well, either way....the Chiefs FO probably hit this one out of the park on the situation.

I don't really think it's arguable anymore.

Tyreek is propping up Tua in a major way. Miami is stuck in a weird spot. They have to decide whether to pay Tua huge money based on his fancy stats with Tyreek, or start over with a cheaper option than Tua.

They don't need to pay Tua anything yet, but with their salary cap....they may have to.

I don't get the whole Lamar Jackson is dumb thing... when he doesn't seem to do shit like this. Tyreek on the other hand, he is dumb.

Tyreek Hill got a 27 on the wonderlic. Jackson got a 13.

Morris Claiborne is the dumbest NFL player in modern history with a 4 on the wonderlic but he had some learning disability. Vince Young and Terrell Pryor dumbest QBs ever based on wonderlic.

Hard to argue that.

Didn’t he marry Kenny Vaccaro’s sister?

I don’t believe that’s been confirmed, though.

Hill is a hell of a smart player. And I think he's really ****ing smart about how he manages and cares for his body. And in his interviews here, he said some really intelligent things, although that might have been the PR team speaking through him.

But he's obviously making bad choices.

I know this year we had major WR woes, but the people who wanted this absolute nutcase still on the team? No way. We got out at exactly the right time.

It is more and more impressive that the chiefs contained his craziness here.
