Or should I remind you Larry Fitzgerald didn’t have one 1k yards for three years in a row then at age 32+ had three more thousand yard seasons…
|
How about Steve smith who had a two year running sub 1k yards 30-32 before he ripped off back to back monster years in his age 33 and 34 years?

I can keep going….. Elite WRs prime extends till 34… even after they are still good for 700+ on average (with many having huge seasons till 36)
Now add an ELITE WR with Mahomes and Andy Reid. Oh add a dash of Kelce and Toney…. Hopkins will destroy one on one matchups period |
Quote:
Kind of disingenuous framing of his recent history. 1. He turned 31 in June and has yet to play his age 31 season. 2. His age 28 season was 2020 3. His age 29 season, he was injured mid-year 4. His age 30 season, he was recovering from that injury and suspended to start the year, and he still was hugely productive when he did return despite playing with garbage at QB. |
Question: Is something up with him? Skeleton in the closet or something? Seems odd he hasn't signed with *somebody* at this point.

Supposedly Randy Moss was done in 2006. Then he went off for 1500 yards and 23 touchdowns in 2007.
|
I'm leaning towards the "he's waiting for the Chiefs to get CJ extended and free up some money" unless somebody else just blows him away with an offer. And to this point nobody is coming close to what he thinks that is. NO PROOF, NO RUMORS, just what an old guy with some common sense thinks.

I think this would be a distraction to Pat. He needs to groom the rookies and keep cap space open to continuously keep the OL fresh with good backups.

Has anyone asked randy from accounting if we can afford this piece of shit?
|
Quote:
Answer: Maybe he's wants a SB ring and is waiting for the Chris Jones extension to be wrapped up so he can sign with *us* and get a couple. Just spit-balling here... Good lord. They're clearly not sending their best and brightest here to post on ChiefsPlanet.com. |
Quote:
If we have extra cap this year, it rolls over to extra cap space next year. Mahomes has proven he can win a SB with the talent we have at WR right now, not adding Dhop. |
If you have the right Capologist(s), the salary cap is essentially a myth.
We have the right Capologist(s). |

Contrary to the belief of a few … I am not a psycho fan who makes crap up to get attention. I live and breathe Chiefs Football like most of you on here. The fact that I’m friends with an insider and I learn things from time to time … and then decide to post what I learned makes me nothing more than a guy who likes to share that inside scoop with my fellow boneheads on here. The Chiefs are our world and we crave info. Have a little faith … and a little patience guys … Bart Varch has GOT THIS! There IS a plan at One Arrowhead Drive … and it will be revealed to all real soon. If you want to gripe about something … then encourage CJ to sign quickly. Because nothing happens until he does. The only question is what number the man is going to wear. His pro number (10) is taken ... so is his college number (6). Any bets on what number he wears with the Chiefs? |
He will wear number 69?!!

If he signs, I'm willing to bet he can buy 10 off of Pacheco if he wants to.

My source says we still haven't reached the 95 clean breakers to finish the Jones negotiations. I'm a bit disappointed in you all...
|
Do yall realize how ****ing disgusting this offense is going to be with Hopkins?
Kelce > Hopkins > Toney > Sky > Rice > Ross Add in a good to great O-line Add in emerging RB room Oh and add in a OC that is Mahomes best friend. |
Though I think the taco bell suggestion has slowed things down a bit...those breaks weren't clean were they fellas...

And in my opinion, this very well could be the best OLine Mahomes has had. (When we had Fish and Schwartz, Interior was lacking imo) With DHop, this already amazing offense becomes potentially one for the record books. |

Teams are going to blow up rosters to rebuild next year. Bengals/Chargers.... Going to have to start from scratch. We need to kick the can down the road and MAXIMIZE Ried/Kelce time left. If we can get 5 years out of those two we will have a chance at 5 more Super Bowls before retirement. We need to load up now, pay the bill later just so over the next 5 seasons we have a chance each year. |

Those last 2 WR's spots will have to be filled with WR's that can play ST. Some weeks we may only suit up 5, so the importance of having either of those WR's being there on ST to contribute is high. Neither of which Justyn or John Ross play ST. But Richie James and Justin Watson do. James has familiarity of the system with Kafka last year and plays ST. Justin Watson has experience in the system and plays ST. Justyn and John Ross have a huge uphill battle to make the team. I would not be surprised to see them on the PS, or even fully released. I would be surprised to see either of them on the 53 man. |

Unless he was full of crap about wanting to go to a contender. But then why would he not have already signed with them or the Pats? Something is weird about those odds changing so drastically. |
He just likes country music
