In the East, you generally have to win 95 games to make the playoffs. That wasn't the case this season due to the epic Sox choke, but normally, that's what you need. It doesn't take nearly as much in the Central normally, which makes me question why the Reds would trade him at all (and they likely won't). Still, if he's going anywhere, I think it will be to his hometown in Toronto. The Jays have a hole there and would love another Canadian to fill the infield.

You never know. With the Rays offensive issues, the Sox issues in general, and my Yankees having suck rotation problems, its not impossible if you find another SP and happened to pull off that Votto trade.
I am not sure the Yankees are going to load up on the rotation. With the killer B's coming up from the minors soon, Nova, and Hughes, they may end up having 4 of the 5 starters being from ths system either this year or next. They kept it open this season with signing Colon/Garcia, wouldn't be shocked if they did somewhat again. C.C. is also probably going to opt out, although I figure they resign him.
