Oh, Billy. Good for him. Nice guy, just weird.

We'll have to get the 2017 Offseason Repo fired up tomorrow. Which means I need to do some work tonight.

Upside: that means I get to watch video of Josh Staumont be filthy during World Series commercials.

Downside: I get to scroll through a million injury updates for Kyle Zimmer.

Low 90s a full year after TJ - is that good or bad?

IIRC he was at 97/98 when he was dominating 2013 and 2014.

Throw in a good word for Ryan O'Hearn, too. He's had a good AFL.

Well, he's just now begun throwing -- 3 or 4 mound sessions, I believe the article said.

Fully erect.

With Boras as his agent, I don't love our chances. Someone will surely outbid us.

You'd expect full recovery to what you're going to be post-TJ at 18 months out, unless you're a complete freak (then it's possible at 12).

Holland isn't a big guy, so that could work against him (see how Lincecum's stuff fell apart as he aged?).

He was sitting at 95 for most of 2014. If he can sit 93-94 and still have that wipeout slider, he still can miss a ton of bats if his location is good and his slider is uninhibited.

Even with 5 percent of his ucl intact, his slider was nasty. So I feel like the odds of it coming back are good.

In a few hours, our reign as World Champions will be over. :deevee:

It was nice while it lasted.

Anyone else think MLB is about to blow by the NFL as Americas top sport once again? It sure feels that way to me.

Baseball is very regionalized sport. It's popular, but you generally only watch one team instead of the best matchups due to the length of the season.

Sounds like what everyone is saying about the NFL these days.
