Baseball is very regionalized sport. It's popular, but you generally only watch one team instead of the best matchups due to the length of the season.

This plus with the variable length and long games, I just don't see it happening. Since you primarily watch one team, almost every day, you really have to read and follow other teams to know what's going on overall in the league. It takes quite a bit of time. With football, I can watch my team and know everything else that goes on during the day as well and have time to watch other good games. That's the type of sport this generation likes.

Its really hard to compare but ratings and attendance in the NFL is falling like a rock while in general MLB numbers are on the rise.

NFL was bound to peak at some point.

No way does baseball get there in my opinion. It takes too much time to be invested in this sport. The casual fan doesn't want to turn on some random game on cable once a week and watch two teams he doesn't care about.

I follow the Royals religiously and due to geography I get to see the Cardinals enough as well, and its kind of hard to keep up with them on a lot of the day to day stuff that is crucial to baseball with the second team. You might know the players but not a lot of the decisions that are made.

That is why God created the MLB network.

Mondesi was so bad at the plate they had to keep Alshittys

Great Expectations 11-03-2016 12:40 PM

Esky for $6.5 is a great deal. They are picking that up even if Mondesi hits 330 with 25 home runs.

Whatever you say bro. Then DM was lying about cutting payroll back next year. Esky was one of the lowest hanging pieces of payroll fruit.
