I got NFLST for free again. I just told them what I always tell them. I pay top dollar for the premiere package and I can't afford to have that and NFLST. Not to mention I have a baby on the way and the wife wants to downsize to cable. Boom. Not only did the rep give me NFLST for free, but she threw in the NFLST Max for free as well.

I have to get on this soon. I cancelled it a few months ago because it was about time they start charging me. Last year was my first year with DTV so it was free. I seriously wouldn't mind even paying $99 for it. We don't get the premium package though so I don't know what my bargaining argument will be?

Direct tv isnt giving a **** anymore. I dont think they are going to renew the exclusive and just let it go up for grabs.

Tell them the only reason you have DTV is because of NFLST. You're family is downsizing and you can't afford it. Tell them you're thinking of having a kid. Something like that. I know you'll get it.

I called yesterday and got it for $147 this year. They were gonna start billing me in August for $300 so half ain't bad. I only paid like $125 last year. Good enough for me. I think it's worth it, truth be told I watch sooo many games I'd pay the $300 or more if I HAD to. I pay the $20 to watch all the pre-season games also. I'm just a NFL nut. But it's all I do, no other hobbys. I don't blow my money on anything else so nobody complains.

A side note to this....my son is looking to move out and the one Apartment owner we talked to yesterday said he talked to Directv about working with him to install one dish on his 8 plex so everyone could hook into it. They told him they only do that with at least 10 apartments or more but in about 2 years or so they are going to have the technology so that they won't even use a dish anymore! Everything will be wireless. Very interesting.

I'm the same. I would gladly pay full price for it. I'm a Chiefs nut and overall NFL nut. I love it.

The Madden 25 ST thing was mobile devices only I believe. I'm going to call and give my usual speel about being a long time customer and having all the movie channels and ordering a bunch of sports packages.

My brother has called for other family members and they have given him the sun, moon and the stars. The last time he called for someone he got Sunday Ticket, Max, 30 dollars off the bill a month, the Genie receiver, genie to go and a 200 dollar visa gift card.

I've been with DTV for 10 years. My bill is around 160 a month. I called in and they offered nothing. Said they would cancel my service if I wasn't happy. I've called in 3 times and it's all been the same thing.
