Royals team salary number is up to 90+ million now. They are in about the middle of the league.

Butler,Moose and Hosmer just aren't producing enough


If they could hit then the Royals would be heading for the playoffs.

I will NEVER get why fans hate players for making money, but don't care if owners make a shitload of the money. Most owners who tell you they can't afford to put more money into their team are lying out their ass. The reason for low payroll teams is because of cheapskate owners a lot more than player salaries.

I thought it was comical a few years ago when the NFL owners were crying about not having enough money to give players raises then flat out refused to open up their financials for scrutiny.

What I meant was if I was the owner (which I never will be) I would pocket the money.
