He punts from the 50 yard line with a yard to gain.

He wasn't going for 2.

I'm thinking it was when Cutler fumbled the ball and Ed Hochulli called it an incomplete pass. We ended up getting a TD on that drive at the end of the game. I was sweating it because it looked like we were barely going to tie it up and then see what we could do. Then they go out there and go for two points. I was yelling and bitching in full force and it went something like, 'What the **** are you doing you senile old piece of shit mother****er we just had the game practically handed to us on a blown call and you stupid ****ing cock gobbler you're going to piss it away with a ****ing...oh...shit...they ****ing made it. Holy shit, he's brilliant."

We did it against the Raiders years ago with Vermiel I think it was as coach.

It was a lost season by then anyway but we went for 2 and won the game on the last play.

LJ up the gut I think it was.

No, that was just a TD dive with :02 on the clock or something instead of a FG.

Same difference though. Go for the win instead of the tie.

I feel like it was not going for two but rather, going for it with only enough time left to run one more play. A fg would have tied it. I also don't recall it being a list season at that point but you may be right. Since I was at that game, you would think I would remember better but I don't.

Lost season. **** phone posting

Terrible idea. Manning only needing a Field goal to win with a minute left. Better shot in OT because you at least get the ball.

Um...if they just settled for tying it up, wouldn't Manning still just need a field goal to win?

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-20-2014 09:34 PM

It was not a lost season. It was the 2005 year, which was better than any Chiefs team we've had since.

LJ caught a screen pass and broke a long gainer, getting tackled right near the goal. We had the ball at the 1 with two seconds left down three. Vermeil went for the win and LJ dove in over the left side of the line.

That was the best Chiefs game I ever went to.

This. Except the best I went to was the 56-7 falcon curb stomp

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-20-2014 09:38 PM

That Falcon game happened after Game 1 of the 2004 WS. I went to a baseball field Sunday morning with a friend and probably threw about 100 pitches, almost all breaking stuff. I think I seriously ****ed up my elbow, because to this day, any time I throw a baseball I get a zinging feeling of numbness shooting down my ring and pinkie finger.

Wait a second, maybe Reid would have went for 2.

By 2 he meant "Seconds".
