Look back at the video, when #99 first hit him, his shoulder pad hits Cassel in the chin. A "knock out" spot.

Normally, I'd agree. However, Cassel's head bounces at the same angle. I've seen it several times on television, live, in sparring, etc. Your brain either shuts off or turns on when it hits like that. In MMA, typically they turn back on bc they're already out. In football, it is the opposite.
