lets make at least 1 level of the defense decent.... sign Hartwell!! |
Kind of like taking a piss after holding it for a 3 hour car ride ain't it?

I'd rather have Hartwell, but shit, this is something...
|
I like the effort to get it done. I'm still hoping for another key defensive signing with the other hole to be filled via the draft.
|
In 2003, Bell had 100 tackles, 5 sacks, 1 Int, and 3 passes defended. His rookie season was awesome too (Won Defensive Rookie of the Year award). He had 83 tackles and 9 sacks.

Bell is a monster! I have always wanted him or a player like him since we lost DT. If he stays healthy (which he believes he is) he will make a very good addition.
Now we just need a CB or two! |

If he stays healthy he will do well, atleast he should...this eases yesterdays pain just a bit now. lets get some more done now!
|
Well, it's a step in the right direction. He's a good player when healthy.
Now, let's at a minimum add a #1 corner. Hopefully another LB too. |
It's too bad Quitlock's not on the air to tell us all how he made this happen.

Wow ... not bad for a team with a cheap-assed owner and incompetent GM. ;)
Acutally, I was more of a Hartwell kinda guy (fewer injury concernts), but Bell is young and an immediate upgrade. Now ... trade for Surtain or sign Law to a performance-laiden contract and I'll be pleased with the FA period. Then either draft Rolle, James or trade up for Williams and I'll be freaking estatic. You guys that think Bell can play outside are crazy. He's 260 pounds.
