The 66 Fairlane was a mid size, larger than the early Mustang and Falcons. The 67 Mustang got about the Fairlane size, so maybe they adopted that platform. I am no Ford expert, but I think even the 65 and earlier were a little larger as well. Of course, at one time, the Fairlane was a full size.

Well - good you helped him out. I probably would have done the same thing but I definately would not have kept the car. I just HATE rice or anything that even resembles it...Just wired that way.

TEX, is that a Shelby (GT500 - are those one in the same?) in your av? I was right behind one of those yesterday. It looked just like that one in your avatar. That thing sounded bad ass. Wish I had one. :(
