Uh, well, let's see if I can explain this so you understand.

Clinton, two terms, lame duck.

Bush, two terms, lame duck.

Take chill pill and realize that your comment about Bush is just as off the wall as was mine about Clinton.

For having Logical for a name you sure don't seem to be.

At least mine had the advantage of having a relevant President capable of making my example happen in the near future. Your example had zero relevance at all.

Well your opinion does have the advantage of being completely irrelevant.

I agree with Big Daddy on this one. There's too much enthusiasm about making crimes felonies with no regard to the fact that the person then can't vote, own a gun, etc. The person that I know wrote some bad checks. Okay, a lot of bad checks. But it was more of a business screwup than an intentional crime. And now he can't vote in an election? And he had to give up his gun collection? Come on.

I'll bite on this one, if you committ 5 murders you can get off scotfree, if you mess with the banking industry it's nuthooks or cement shoes your choice.

Come on fellas, there would be a whole lot us average Americans willing to take up arms over that one.

"Come on....make my day, Senator." :D

I am pretty sure this is going to happen, and maybe to me.

I am getting pretty sick of the inflation that does not exist. $3.50 gas is going to piss me clear off. But arms? Probably never, ever.

ChiefaRoo 07-26-2006 08:48 PM

If the President or Congress suspended our constitutional rights. I like to think that our professional military would NOT take up arms against the American population. I don't think our military is full of robots but rather is led by an officer core that would protect the people and the constitution.
