Until the Chiefs defense is good for a sustained period of time everyone is going to think it's still bad.

Yeah... cuz beating up on the #26 ranked team (NFL Power Rankings) is completely buzz worthy.

We wont get talked about until we beat someone big. A win against the Steelers next week (given we win today), THEN people will start talking about KC.

I'm really pumped for this game because I think we'll learn something about what kind of team we will have this year. We've had the defense cooking for 2 games. Offense was on fire last week. Was last week's great performance a aberration or a sign of things to come? Herm seems to put a big emphasis on winning on the road, so I'm expecting an inspired performance from our team, not one of those sleep walk performances that we put up against the Bills and Giants last year. From my perspective, we should dominate a team in that is in disarray ans starting a rooking QB. If we do that, that will be a signal to me that we are going to be competitive all year. If we lapse back and struggle today, we'll be lucky to finish above .500 for the year.

I just walked to the grocery store in my Chiefs sweatshirt to get some Dr. Pepper and Fritos for the game, and there was a dude walking down the block carrying two Sprites and wearing an Arizona Cardinals sweatshirt. It was kind of like seeing myself in an alternate universe.
