Are people from Belton considered more trashy than other towns in the KC area?

With the missing item on your dresser, I would guess not very well.

Glad to hear it never went missing.

In the spirit of good will, why don't you offer said impact driver as a giveaway prize on the planet? Maybe the fairy will bring you yet another one.

Why don't you ship it to me just to test the theory.

That's a great idea. I've decided to give it to a randomly selected user...

Skinbra, come on down. You've just won a DeWalt cordless impact driver on ChiefsPlanet Is Right. Congratulations you witty devil.

:hmmm:

Sorry to hear that Phil, but at least you have the email address. Odds are, these people are not exactly rocket scientists and you should be able to lure them back to your place with an email explaining how you have another part of the bed you forgot to give them, or something else you "forgot about" that you would like to give to them free. Bonus if you can get the scum bags to give you their address so you can mail it to them. If you can get their address, they are forked. If nothing else, either get a few bags of their garbage and raise hell with their life, Call the power company to have their power, water, gas shut off, max their credit cards out at big bad sex toys dot com, whatever, you get the point. Hell, toss a railroad flare into their car at two in the morning in about six months after they forgot about you.

Good Luck, I know I would do whatever it took to run the bags of crap down if I were in your shoes.

I have no idea. These fine folks have been upgraded from white trash to "people who did not steal my impact driver". I love them.

Just wondering what the preception was of Beltonites from others in KC area. My grandparents live pretty close to Belton proper.

Phobia 03-03-2007 01:30 PM

I know a few people from Belton. I wouldn't describe them as white trash.

Bwana 03-03-2007 01:36 PM

Heh! I guess I should have finished reading the thread before posting. :) I'm glad it turned up.

As the thread title says, sometimes I'm not too bright (plus I've been huffing paint fumes).

Glad you found PHil. Glad you were wrong about them. I was hoping, for you sake, that you were wrong about them.

Phobia 03-03-2007 01:37 PM

I just fired off an explanation and apology to the nice lady. My conscience is now clear.

You'd already accused them? Ouch.
:doh!:

Phobia 03-03-2007 01:56 PM

Nah - I hadn't said anything to them. But I wanted to apologize for thinking ill of them anyway. Strange huh?

Actually, I would have done the same thing. Would have eaten me up not apologizing. Even for what they didn't even know.
