If they don't give up a 4th, f 'em. F 'em up their stupid a's. Let it drag out until they see their guys stink up the joint in minicamp, panic, and cough up a 3rd or so for next year's draft.

Tribal Warfare 04-29-2007 01:21 AM

I'd start getting the Lions involved for their 4th or 5th round pick

Can we trade Greg Wesley too?

Cowgirl 04-29-2007 01:45 AM

So far, a young guy we drafted from Alabama last year named Brodie Croyle. Huard will still be backup.

Nope, and prolly Brody Croyle. CP will prolly tank this one and get nothing for Green before they release him.......

I mean, Beck needs time to sit on the bench; a year or two of watching Green is just the ticket, IMO. He could be a good QB.

However, if Miami refuses to budge....I honestly, say, screw it; keep Green as long as we can....depending on cap considerations, if we got the money....keep Green as an insurance policy....it's not as if he hasn't earned that money, IMO, anyway.

Plus, THEN we still screw the Dolphins. :)

So, what will happen??? :hmmm:

If we don't we should get a 3rd or 4th pick compensation from the nfl correct???

Not too sure Green staying is a good thing if they want to move forward with the 'youth' movement....As another poster stated a few days ago, the Chiefs have been putting off the rebuilding mode for over a decade. Perhaps its time. As a die hard Chief's fan, I always feel they are 1 or 2 players away from the Superbowl...As 'kommen cence' sets in, it's prolly time to blow up the roster.... :banghead:

It was said on the draft today that the Chiefs were the oldest team in the NFL.
