yeah, cpete has that effect on people. like him or not, you have to expect criticism if you haven't sent a team to the big game. and if you've been around as long as he has, you have to expect crazy criticism. at this point, i'm sure there are people that blame him for the war in iraq.

it's all good.

I have a new theory on why the Chiefs can’t sign anyone — other than Gonzalez, Carl Peterson’s favorite Chief — in a timely fashion.

Total BULL$HIT! Plain and simple. Ryan Sims was the last Chiefs # 1 to miss any significant time. Whitless can bag on Peterson about other issues, but this one is totally false.

Keep fighting the good fight, TEX.

according to the last time i checked:

chiefs
kennison - first round pick
bowe - first round pick
parker - 2nd round pick

patriots
wes welker - undrafted free agent

randy moss - do we even need to go into this overrated piece of crap?

troy brown - 8th round pick - that's not even a round anymore.

reche caldwell - 2nd round bust in san diego. always hurt.

donte stallworth - in the leagues substance abuse program, has injury concerns, and while he signed a nice contract, it is an incentive contract, which means the patriots can easily cut him loose when he starts sucking.

moss and stallworth, the starting wr's for the patriots in 2007 are so solid that they both got traded for 4th round draft picks and freakin mark simoneau.

that's not to say the patriots couldn't kick our ass, but gimme a break. there's nothing wrong with undrafted and late round guys as long as they can play. hell, the patriots just sent a 4th round pick to miami for a guy that was originally undrafted.

That overrated piece of crap has 100 td's or more and very well could be in the HOF some day.

Wile_E_Coyote 08-03-2007 11:13 AM

If a Patriot took a crap on their own logo in centerfield, everybody would wonder why their team didn't do the logo dump

Too bad the 2003 Randy Moss left football. The new version isn't all-that anymore.

a very high first round draft position is looking real good right now!

I hear Andre Rison still wants to play. He can provide leadership, too.

While the opinions in that piece are overblown, the fact that Parker needs a "confidence boost" at this point in his career tells me he needs to go.

The guy has a handful of circus grabs, a TON of drops & one highlight reel block in all of these years, i say...Sayonara Sammy, F it, get the kids in there & damn the torpedoes.

He's a waste of roster space, plain & simple.

Micjones 08-03-2007 05:13 PM

I don't think he's a waste of roster space...
He'd be a productive #3...

That may be, or it may not be...a guy in his 4th year really shouldnt be struggling in camp.

He should be helping the younger guys with their struggles.

But what can i do???...he's probably here for 07.

Ugly Duck 08-03-2007 06:37 PM

If it makes you guyz feel any better, Oakland's receivers aren't doing so hot in camp either. Dropping balls, allowing interceptions. Rookie TE Zach Miller is catching everything, surprise WR Mike Williams caught several TDs over Nnamdi Asomugha & looks real good. Everybody else has sucked. Our new long snapper fuggedup & hiked the ball thru the crossbars.

No, Mr. Ugly Duck. That does not make me feel better.
