i liked hoffman in seriousness in these movies Boogie nights, the movie where he huffs gasoline to get high and he is the main character the name escapes me. I also liked him in almost famous. I heart that movie.

He stole the show in "Charlie Wilson's War" as Gust Avrakotos.
