You know, as the marketing guru that he is, he'd be a perfect fit for the Lions: restore public interest, fill all the seats in the house, and draft a team good enough to keep them coming, but never good enough to win it all.

While I'm happy for the long-suffering people of Detroit, this makes me kind of sad. Not only does it deprive me of one of my most enduring sources of laughter, but it also eliminates the Chiefs' only competition for "most incompetent leadership".

I don't know how much more incompetent it gets than having Ford as an owner.

On another note, being a Lions fan this is one of the greatest days in Football. Now if only the Hunt family will take notes on todays actions.
