They haven't been the same since he left the band that's for sure, but I wouldn't say they suck. You can definitely tell what a driving force DeGarmo was when they were writing there earlier music.

I would give the edge to Tesla. I saw them at a bar a couple of years ago and they are still pretty good. The singer is a little annoying though. Not in his talent but he thinks he is bigger than he is.
