I love the westport flea market burger. Damn that is the shit! You have to pay cash though which sucks!

Good times, good times...

Closed up before he left, it was kindve a shithole....and the food wasn't bad suprisingly.

Outback is overpriced as **** too

KCCHIEFS27 12-18-2008 01:24 PM

Just forget the steak..you can get a good steak anywhere. You are coming to the Midwest, man. KC is known for its BBQ. Go to Arthur Bryant's on Brooklyn St. and call it a done deal. DO NOT GO TO THE ONE AT THE LEGENDS.

Demonpenz 12-18-2008 01:25 PM

there are a zillion bbq threads

Dude, if you are going to give him a chain you might as well use Texas Roadhouse. Ribeye and Babyback special or the smotherd 18oz T-bone!!

Twice as good and 1/2 the price of Herford House.

Ruth's Chris may be a chain but it's some of the best food in the city. It's pricey (at least $40-50/person) but really, really good.

For atmosphere and food, you can't beat the Majestic.

Dude, I do NOT do the Suburbia Strip Mall Steakhouse fare; I would literally rather eat a shit sandwich.

Your taste is like your politics. Pitiful.

Ah, pretense trumps reality. Got it.

If only there were a zillion BBQ Joints; dare to dream...

1) Gates. You got the best sauce, you get the crown.

2) LC's. The best "hidden spot" in the BBQ Universe.

3) Bryants. I'm not a fan of that sauce, but I can not deny that when you place an order to go; you get every pennies worth and then some.
And as someone already pointed out; GO TO 18TH AND BROOKLYN.

4) Fiorella's. I'm not real hip on the super-dark, ultra-sweet molasses-trip, but Jack's meats( sans sauce )are some of the best-prepared you'll ever eat.
