Remember, IF AND WHEN! But hopefully sooner than later.

I think people can be as negative as they want, especially the ones paying tax dollars to fund the stadium renovations, even though a lot of them have been priced out of the actual games.

With Herm as HC, and only counting regular season, we are 15/48 (15/49 if you do count the wild card game). 15/48 makes us .313 for the three years he's been here. With the Jets, he was .487. Overall, Herm has a .422 record as HC.

Oh, and on a side note Dart, you are NOT a TRUE FAN!!

Herm is 6-26 with out mostly Dicky V's players.

Shox, your takes on individual players aren't terrible. I'd probably push your ratings on DJ, Hali, and Page/Pollard down a notch.

The point is that we need several future pro-bowlers among the young guys to push for a SB. You can point to Albert, Bowe, and Flowers as having that potential. Too soon to say one way or another on Dorsey. But we also need stars at the QB and LDE position, and those are hard to find.

When people complain about the talent, they are probably referring to the fact that at the moment we still need to turn over at least half of our starters to be truly competitive for a Super Bowl.

I have no interest on being next year's Miami.

I call BS. My toes have still not thawed out from that last home game. If that's not a true fan, I don't know what is.

Mine were very toasty in my sports bar here...

So if the Chiefs are "full of young talented players" as you claim why did they finish 2-14, despite playing in a historically weak AFC West?
And your claim that the Chiefs were in "every single game except for a couple"?

The fact is 7 of the Chiefs 14 losses (which would be HALF of their losses) were by 10+ points.

Get your head out of Herm's ass and try reality.

I understand the Chiefs are not a good football team. But, I am so tired of all the people who post on this website claiming the Chiefs are totally void of talent. It is just a stupid, stupid comment. The Chiefs a full of young talented players. No they are not at the point where they can win consistently in the NFL, but look at what a bunch of 1, 2 and 3 year players did. They were in every single game except for a couple. With another year of two experience, a quality leader at QB, and maybe a few quality experienced FA and these guys could certainly be a very good NFL football team.
I wouldn't call these guys fair weather fans. A fair weather fan stops following "his team" altogether when they suck, and comes back to claim he's been a fan for years when they play well and win SB's.

The guys who criticize the level of talent on the team, I would consider realists. That being said, I don't think you are actually fed up with "realists" but the guys who are delusional to a negative extreme. Such as Mecca. Mecca believes that every player on a SB caliber team is a superstar. In that sense, he's an idiot. Just like a guy who thinks every player who plays for the Chiefs is an idiot. A Championship team doesn't need to be all superstars. They need a few superstars, a few difference makers, and a lot of solid starters backed with solid back-ups. Just my .02 .
