How can a guy who still has a job be a leading candidate for the same job elsewhere?:hmmm: maybe herm has buckled and agreed to fire everyone else to save himself? sounds like the kind of thing that spineless **** would do, lay blame on others and assume none himself

It will be amusing to read about the first time someone in Detroit tries to hold him up for some cash and he breaks their necks with his bare hands.

Funny how the team as a whole can affect the play of a unit. When that "circus offense" scored a shit ton of points, it had a way of making opposing teams one dimensional.

Of course, it was Gun's brilliance (and vocal cords111) that made the difference. What happened in the following three seasons when more draft picks and FA dollars were used on the D? Herm? Carl? The chefs at Arrowhead?

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha. Holy Jesus.

Good luck with that, Detroit.

Funny.....but answer me this.

How can he be in the running unless he's already been fired? I thought coaches weren't allowed to take the same job with another team.

Sorry. #1.

Gun apologists had me worked up.

IIRC, they can be given permission to interview for a lateral move.

Gibbs and Priefer have already interviewed. (Houston and Denver)

So then I'm under the assumption that everyone except Herm has been given permission to interview elsewhere.

I'm pretty sure they've already taken the jobs.

The Lions may not have even called to request permission.

So far, this reads as speculation because they worked together in Tennessee.

He just needs the right players. Eventually he'll find them.

Yeah, I don't know. I haven't seen anything official, then again, I really haven't been looking.

Maybe we can trade Gunther and the #3 pick for their #1 overall.
