yup, whether they win the SB or not, he's definately in now.

There is no question now that Warner is a Hall of Famer. If they win the SB that will only cement it IMHO.

Okay so how does that stand up with the two 1st round picks in the AFC still playing and the majority of the QB's in this years playoffs were 1st round picks?

Oh, you mean those two guys who were ranked 22nd and 24th in passing this season?

What would their teams have ever done without them?...

I like Warner a lot, but I'm not sure he's a Hall of Famer. He's been in the league 11 years, and I think he's been the main starter in only five of them. And in those five, he's appeared in three Super Bowls. It seems to me like he could be a real first-ballot hall of famer if his coaches would consistently start him.

He's been the starter for more than that. 6 or 7 seasons

I think Warner kind of got ****ed over by the Rams.

Well, his platform is 2 superbowls, another NFC championship and likely a hall of fame stage. Your platform for a running joke is a fan forum.....hmmmm.:spock:

he's a good guy with exceptional perserverance. Jesus probably helped him with that.

No doubt that Kurt Warner is now a 1st ballot Hall of Famer. Put his number up next to anyone's, and now another Super Bowl appearance with another (historically horrible) team. Barring a total collapse in the Super Bowl, he's a shoe-in. I loved to bash him while he was a Ram, but he really is a good guy, and a great QB.

 Kurt!

Being league MVP twice and winning a super bowl should have got him pretty close.

Did everybody not give up on this guy like 3 years ago? Seriously, He looks to me to be playing as well as he did in St. Louis. I mean, I'm 39 and I hurt all over to go in the yard and play full time quarterback with my 15 & 10 year old.....and I don't get hit.

KCBOSS1 01-18-2009 07:02 PM

Of course if i was throwing to Fitzgerald and Boldin, I'd feel pretty good too.

Looks like his starts are:

1998 - 0 Stl - No one starts an arena league QB
1999 - 16 Stl - Thanks to Rodney Harrison
2000 - 11 - Stl - Probably injured
2001 - 16 - Stl - Another Super Bowl
2002 - 6 - Stl - What happened here?
2003 - 1 - Stl - Benched behind Bulger? What happened?
2004 - 9 - NYG - Starter, then benched for Eliway
2005 - 10 - Ari - What happened?
2006 - 5 - Ari - Benched for Leinert? Or did he come off the bench?
2007 - 11 - Ari - What happened?
2008 - 16 - Ari - Won the starting job

It's hard to tell when he was a full-time starter and when he ended up either getting benched or coming off the bench. Anyone a Warner historian?

He has had three season in which he started all 16 games. Don't know if he got injured, benched or started as a back up on the other season.

Those three season are the same three in which he went to the SB.
