The Chiefs get Cassel and Vrabel and still get to keep the # 3?

The Patriots get to clear out all the cap space abd get to pick #23 and #35?

An excellant deal for both clubs!!!!

not giving our 1st (if true) is just ****ing great

Frazod 02-28-2009 12:01 PM

NFLN guys speculating that we may be sending one of our disgruntled veterans to NE.

Perhaps that could ease the pain a bit.

Heck if we gave up only a 2nd rounder for a team that could use a QB, while keeping our 1st rounder that's not too shabby.

Why. Chiefs still have the #3 and they got a solid qb.

Well, the Patriots just got Taylor, so it probably wouldn't be Johnson if it were the case.

Drafturbators are wishing the firing of Carl Peterson never occurred!

Shag 02-28-2009 12:03 PM

Not much of a Cassel fan, but if we kept the #3, that makes it a little less painful. Hopefully, he will prove to be better than many around here (myself included) feel he is...

I wonder if this means we'll be shopping the #3 around to try and get some picks back. Not sure if we'll get a buyer, but I can imagine the Pioli trying...

CaptainMorgan 02-28-2009 12:03 PM

offensive tackle 3rd overall...

dannybcaitlyn 02-28-2009 12:03 PM

If its for a second . I like it. He's proven he can play in the NFL.
