The freshmen bring a lot of energy and talent to an already deep team. This is going to be an amazing season and, come March, one amazing team. :)

Got any Gene Iba stories for us, old timer?

Did I tell you about the time I was inside Kemper Arena watching the teams work out before the '88 Final Four? Admission was free and the place was packed. The fire marshal wouldn't let any more in until some people left. I found out on the 6 o'clock news that Hank Iba was left waiting outside while I was inside. Who is Gene Iba? Was he at UAB?

I think the most exciting part of our roster is the progression of the Morris twins.

Gene Iba is the coach of Pitt State you old codger.

Oh, and Texas Roadhouse is highly over-rated. You shouldn't go there.

I just moved to town in May but so far my favorite steakhouses are it and Longhorns.

I can't find the shooting percentage but it was probably low. Pittsburgh state also turned the ball over 30+ times.

Where was he before that? I think he and Jeff Guiot competed for that Pitt job.

Wow, dude, Longhorns is awful. Roadhouse's food is OK but the atmosphere is not a steakhouse, it's more like an applebees on steroids.

For a real treat, go to Northstar Steakhouse. Take highway 24 east to Rochester road (the corner with the wal-mart and dillons), turn left and left again on the road that goes around the Dillons parking lot, then your first right, and you will see the Northstar on your right.

They used to be a members only club to get around the liquor laws in Kansas. The steaks are great, the service is wonderful, and the french fries with gravy are what they are famous for. They also serve blind tiger beer (they are owned by the Blind Tiger now). You can also get a free steak dinner on your birthday.

He is Hanks nephew.

I think he coached at Baylor. He was an assistant for Don Haskins.

Are they reading paragraphs at a time now?

I'll bet one or both actually graduate from college....unlike so many others. Sad, eh? :spock:

should of been something like 125-35 if we didn't put in the 4th string and slow it way down to boot.

I'll definitely give it a try. The reason I liked Longhorns is they were the first place I went that actually cooked the steak to the correct temperature on the first try.

They might actually graduate too...unlike other deadbeat loser dropouts who weren't even athletes. Imagine that! How is that possible? :hmmm:
