It was the best of drafts, it was the worst of drafts. It was the age of shorties, it was the age of reaches. It was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity.

1 - A
2 - D- 3 - C- Eric Berry was a great pick. Love it. Had they gone any other way I would have pulled out my pitch fork. Round two was about as bad as I could have imagined. How can you possibly draft two guys 5'8" or shorter with all that stud talent there? I would have been happy had they drafted any of: Benn, Tate, Kindle, Griffen, Nate Allen, Troup, Clausen, Joseph, Lee, Cody, Charles Brown, Ducasse, D. Williams or Donald Butler in the second. They could have picked any combo of two of them and I would have been at least appeased. How they could possibly pass up so much talent in areas of need just blows my mind. |

I'll post it again. This is what he did recently against SEC teams this year Arkansas - 260 YDS Auburn - 203 YDS Tennessee - 342 YDS LSU - 164 YDS Miss St - 145 YDS Vandy - 176 YDS and against Big XII teams Texas Tech - 180 YDS OK State - 229 YDS Also the only SEC player in History with 1,000+ yards rushing and 500+ yards receiving in a single season. You guys are gonna be very pleasantly surprised. |
I don't mind the McCluster pick one bit, to be honest. Find a way to get this guy the ball in space and somebody get a downfield block for the cherry. No problem.
The CB? He's a nickle guy in the NFL ... maybe. Trading up to take an injury prone TE? Those are absolute head scratchers. FAX |
OleMiss you can't tell that to most of these whiney bitches. They would rather have a DB with 5.6 speed, a DL with a microfracture, a NT that looks like a bowl of jello, or a QB that fell so far down the draft his ego wouldn't allow him to be seen on TV.

drafting a 90lb hb from a wildcat offense to be (correction...teaching to be from scratch) a slot wr in the NFL with the 36th pick in the strongest draft in memory is not something that makes me jizz in my face but you will find plenty of fans to indulge you, so please enjoy your time here |
hell ya I'm a homer. I love the guy. He took us to back to back Cotton Bowls.
But the stats have no bias. Anyone who obliterates SEC defenses like that is pretty solid, doesn't matter how big he is. And the VAST majority of his yards didn't come out of the wildcat offense. Most Ole Miss fans aren't big on "the wild rebel" because it rarely did anything when it was used. |
1 A
2 D- 3 B The great teams constantly pick guys that make you say "Aw man! That totally makes sence and makes them better! Great pick!" This is not the "patriot way". We take lesser players at positions of lesser need instead of Greater players at positions of Grater need. Fail. |
